About this deal

In the front seat, I have my baby's feet propped up a bit more, whereas my toddler is most comfortable with his feet down. Once I pack up the seats I place the bag on the stroller frame so its easy to push down to the plane. After using the Baby Jogger City Select as a double stroller with a second seat attached, our parent testers gave the stroller good or very good ratings for quality and ease of use, and most felt the same about the stroller’s value. First I am wondering do you feel this one stroller suffices or do you have multiple strollers, since this doesn’t seem like the most comfortable option for the kids. With air-filled rubber rear wheels, and swivel-locking front wheels, our editors found pushing this stroller very easy.

What’s great about the seats is that each can be individually reclined so your little ones don’t have to be sitting in the same position. I have had some foot operated brakes that I’ve really not liked, so the hand operated is a nice change. The belly bar is nice if you want something across the seat for your child to hold onto but do not want a bulky tray. Please note fits in the carry bag with seats ONLY (the bassinet won't fit with the stroller in the bag. After much consideration and going back and forth between three strollers, we settled on the Baby Jogger City Select. This gives you more control, making it easier to go in a straight line, as opposed to wobbling all over the place. I’ve always found the buggy to be sturdy on most surfaces and you can always lock the wheels if you’re pushing it on cobbles or across the grass. While this feature is definitely flip-flop friendly, and our testers found it easy to apply and release the brake, our editors found it a little stiff and worried about it pinching fingers.

Recommendation: You can use the screws that come with the brackets, however once you drill the holes they may not be super tight. The fold is ridiculously bulky, and if you want to fit it almost anywhere, you'll have to remove the second seat to do it. With that said though, if you live in a cold environment, this stroller maneuvered and handled pretty well on snow and slush. I would leave your infant car seat without a bag and make sure you have a ticket for the bag and the infant car seat. On the other hand, the City Select 2 offers a one step compact fold while keeping the seat attached.

There are many small closures that have to be undone to remove the cover from the seat frame, but it's pretty easy to do this. One of the great things about the Baby Jogger City Mini double is that it’s very lightweight for a double buggy. The only slight negative is that when the girls get bigger a heavier the pram is getting heavier to lift up the curbs but other than that the pram is a really good one and we love it! As with most double strollers, to fold the City Select you have to remove the second seat—a slight inconvenience, yes, but the seat is super easy to slide in and out, so this can be done in a jiff. Single-handed, the stroller became a little more challenging to push over grass, gravel and curbs, but that's pretty common.

I loved this buggy used form birth with the car seats and only said goodbye when they got heavier as i found it use to be harder to steer. Overall, the City Select 2 is an okay stroller, but it didn't meet the performance of the competition in our tests. Baby Jogger offer a full Lifetime guarantee on the frame of the pushchair, accessories and fabrics are covered for 1 year.

However you have the option of the select 2 bassinet or an infant capsule (sold separately) if you prefer. Hi do you still use the stroller, I have 3 under 2 and thinking of this but not sure it will be a great idea with the seats being so tight.
