About this deal

The ProBlend brand’s main objective is to provide quality products with new innovative techniques and dispensing equipment proven to be state of the art with products that are economical for the customers and made in the USA.

Set up is straightforward – once you’ve loaded your ingredients into one of the 700ml cups, you screw on the powerful Pro Extractor Blade lid and fix it in position on top of the base. You can choose from manual settings, that you can stop and start at your own leisure, and use pulse controls too. Or you can opt for the intuitive ‘Auto-IQ’ one-touch programs, that work for a set time and limit the guesswork. Choose from the likes of the 50-second Blend setting, that works well for drinks with ice and frozen ingredients, or the 60-second Max Blend setting, which is good for use on ingredients with skins or items such as seeds and nuts. You will have to take care when cleaning up as the jug can't be submerged in water, but it does have a useful pre-set cleaning mode built in to minimise on the washing up. With its powerful 1000W motor, it's not the quietest blender on the market either - we found it reached up to 106 decibels in our test. The powerful industrial high speed 3HP (38,000 RPM) motor with 1200W power output can effortlessly crush ice. The two-in-one Japanese stainless steel cutting blades are capable of both wet and dry application. This blender is the ideal solution for any catering outlet offering blended beverages. The ProBlend 950SE Eastman Tritan Co-polyester Jug is 1.5L, BPA Free and virtually unbreakable. It is compatible with JTC, Omniblend and Vitamix blenders. In 2011, the idea was conceived to create a brand that contained quality American made products made in the USA, and supported by local companies. The brand needed an innovative line of products that would bring the family run business a way to compete with the national brands, and at the same time give customers an edge with product, service, and equipment that was not only of high quality, but cutting edge to the market. Easy to clean and smaller than the average jug blender, the Nutribullet Balance won't take up too much room on your worktop. It will however make itself known in use - when we used it to make a banana, raspberry and cocoa smoothie, the noise levels ramped up to 107 decibels. It also needed a shake half way through to get the cocoa powder to dislodge and continue to mix with the other ingredients. Whilst we will always try to accommodate specific delivery requests from our customers this may not be possible and only be undertaken at an additional cost. On board there's a built-in heat element and up to 10 Auto-iQ pre-set programmes for cold and hot recipes. This takes the guess work out of how long you have to whizz up certain ingredients. For example, we tried it on the smoothie button and it produced a smooth and silky drink, with minimum froth on top, in under a minute. It also has pre-set buttons for chopping, sautéing, blending and cooking soups in under 20 minutes - all from scratch. There are also manual settings so you can tailor your smoothies and soups and choose the speed and length of blend.

The minimally styled control panel has four pre-set 'Adapti-blend' settings illustrated with icons for juices, soups, smoothies and a handy self-cleaning feature. At 1,600W and with Tefal's ‘Powelix Life Blade Technology’, the Infiny Mix is a high-speed design that can carry out a number of blending tasks with pre-programmed one-touch buttons. Choose from specific settings on its stylish and nicely illuminated LED display for Smoothies, Ice crush, Sorbets and Dessert. There’s also a setting to make cleaning the jug easy – we simply placed a tiny drop of washing up liquid in water and pressed the clean setting to dislodge any ingredients under the blade, then gave it a rinse with fresh water.

What's the best blender in 2021?

The KitchenAid 5KSB8270 comes with a punchy 3.5-peak horsepower motor, which claims to be the most powerful blender on the market - while we were suitably impressed at how well our smoothies and soups blended, the motor can get quite noisy - reaching 106 decibels while we made a banana and raspberry smoothie. The jug is made from glass, which makes it heavier than some of the plastic designs, but it does come with a handle and non-drip spout for pouring, which all adds to its luxury feel. While it doesn't have a cleaning mode on board, it does features dishwasher safe parts that make it easy to keep fresh. The blade cannot be fully submerged in water either but it was easy to clean with washing up liquid and a hot running tap. What did stand out when we used this model is how quiet the operation is - nudging a mere 90db when we used it to make a smoothie with ice on the fast setting.

Pros: Hot and cold presets; cleaning mode; tamper included Cons: Bulky 5.6kg weight; jug cannot be submerged in water The powerful industrial high-speed 3HP (38,000 RPM) motor with 1200W power output can effortlessly crush ice. The two-in-one Japanese stainless steel cutting blades are capable of both wet and dry application. This blender is the ideal solution for any catering outlet offering blended beverages. At 1,000W, it isn’t the most powerful blender we’ve tested, but it provides more than enough punch for your average smoothie. We found it did well to whizz up our raspberry and banana smoothie using the Blend setting, pulling down the ingredients down to blitz in under the allotted 50 seconds. We also tried creating a green smoothie, using a mix of fresh and frozen produce including spinach, broccoli, pear, pineapple and avocado. While it needed a little shake midway through, to encourage some of the spinach at the top to combine, it was able to produce a silky smoothie drink with minimum froth in under a minute. And, although noise decibel levels can ramp up into the 90s, we think the excellent performance of this model makes it well worth the investment. If you only have specific ingredients in your fridge, you can use the Pantry section of the app, manually tap in what you have and it will recommend suitable recipes. There's also a useful Shopping List section, where you can make a note of ingredients you need to buy. What's more, if you're following a certain diet such as 'diabetic friendly' or want something specifically designed to boost energy, you can tailor which recipes the app recommends to you. With ProBlend users have over 50 fully customizable presets. Users may select within six main categories such as colorized drop zones, colorized sources, colorize both, uncolored originals, threshold sources and drop zones, threshold drop zones, and threshold sources. With ProBlend each category is specifically designed separately, to give the user flexibility over design and customization.

Pros: Versatile model that can handle a good range of ingredients; powerful motor; iconic design Cons: Bulky and heavy base - you'll need room on your worktop For the toughest of cleaning jobs, call on ProBlend Industrial. Our authorized professionals are available to recommend effective solutions for the demanding cleaning needs of today’s industries. Hence, the ProBlend brand was created. The program encompasses companies with equipment, product and service beyond the national companies. When a product is bought in any of the five categories: Warewash, Hand Care, Laundry, Housekeeping and Floor Care, the sales help the community by supporting a local company. The brand is built with pride from its members and support from the customer base.Going “Beyond Clean” is what the members do for their customers every day of the year, providing service beyond reproach. Unfortunately frozen delivery charges are significantly higher than standard courier services due to the specialised nature of a temperature controlled vehicles undertaking the delivery. Pros: Includes both multi-serve and on the go jugs; specific nutrient-rich extraction program; blends both hot and cold liquids, dishwasher-safe parts Cons: Can create bubbles; lots of just to contend with (which could be a pro for some, however) Thankfully, its relatively quiet operation is quite deceiving, as its on-board razor-sharp blades are designed at an optimised cutting angle to take on the toughest of ingredients, including nuts and ice. These stainless-steel blades have a hard titanium coating to make them durable over time too.
