Initially I thought I received a damaged product since sound buttons were not working, even tried after changing battery position. The book looks thick but the back part doesn’t have pages as I gather this is where the battery fits. I bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew because at 2 years old, he hasn't shown much interest in books (even for the pictures), but responds to anything noisy!As this is my favourite children's book of the day, I just had to get it for him and I thought it was the perfect introduction to books and story telling. Pages inside the book are paper rather than being a board book throughout so can be easily ripped by an enthusiastic toddler!
