It is subtle enough that some kids won't pick up on the melancholy aspects, but they will still love the book.All of these nuggets make this book worth reading, but there’s not much that tops your toddler getting particularly excited at Bluey’s reunion with mum. Yet perhaps, they are picking up on the complex mystery behind a love for the simple things - like walking by yourself along the shore. Bluey finds a conch shell that she wants to show Mum and surprisingly, Dad allows her to go on a solo adventure to follow Mum.
