When a group of Cornish fishermen came together to sing the traditional working songs they'd sung for generations, nobody, least of all the fishermen, expected the story to end on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. This facilitated the adoption of natural, freewheeling harmonies very much in line with traditional Cornish singing practices, as noted by the Reverend Hawker back as far as the early 1800s, where participants would congregate in a semi-circle and ‘strike sound’. This year they've reached 104,000 followers on Facebook, signed a fifth album deal with Island Records.
