About this deal

Cadence is the granddaughter of Tipper and Harris Sinclair, wealthy elite of New England. Every summer Cadence spends her vacation on an island off Massachusetts, which is owned by her grandparents. She revels in the freedom of the island and loves to spend time with her cousins — Johnny and Mirren — and their family friend, Gat. Johnny’s mother’s boyfriend is Gat’s uncle. Cadence instantly formed an attachment to him when they met roughly nine years earlier. Stay tuned to get more updates on the age rating of all movies, tv shows, books, and games. Finally, any suggestions are always welcomed. more than anything, i think this is a story about the complexities of sisterhood. i don’t have sisters so i can’t fully understand the bond between sisters but the relationship between the Sinclair sisters stole the show for me and physically pained me to read. the amount of times my heart was beating out of my chest or i began to cry was countless. and that’s why this is getting five stars, just purely due to the visceral reaction it evoked within me... just like when i was 14 years old.

The use of dramatic lines. You know when an author brings in an epic moment-stopping line? This was full of those awesome drops!

Although welcomed to the island every summer, Gat never feels truly at ease because he is of Indian decent and can tell that the Sinclair grandparents do not approve of him. The four grow up together each summer and call themselves “the Liars.” I think this definitely had big boots to fill since the massive success and re-emergence of We Were Liars recently, but I can honestly say that I think this book did an amazing job of holding up itself regardless. If you like the sound of a story filled with family secrets and mystery, with a dash of romance, then I really recommend giving it a go. I guess with this book, depending on what you think of the ending, you will either love it or hate it (but hopefully love it!). Personally, I believe there is a lesson or two to be learnt from We Were Liars, particularly the one that no matter how rich and successful you are, money can’t buy happiness or a perfect life, that in actual fact the model of ‘perfect’ is impossible to achieve. Instead, you need happiness, truth and love – three goals I feel Cady is searching for throughout the book.

This review may seem just as ambiguous as the story itself, but it must be if you wish to obtain the full effect of its delivery. Harris Sinclair – The wealthy patriarch of the family who is controlling and enjoys watching his children fight to please him Prime Video offers customers a vast collection of movies, series, and sports —all available to watch on hundreds of compatible devices.I'm surprised at how varied the feelings on here about this book are...some of my friends hated it.

But seriously, GO READ THIS. Stop what you're doing and go get it RIGHT NOW. It will blow you away. Sarah Odedina, Hot Key MD, says : "Everyone at Hot Key Books is so excited and energised by having this breathtaking book on the list. It is a one-sitting heart-pounding read. It is quite simply unique and we know we are going to have a spectacular time bringing it to the attention of readers." This is a book you’ll have to experience for yourself! And I want you all to scream: ”WHAT THE FREAKING HELL!!??” when you finally reach the ending. Haha! And maybe that makes me sound extremely heartless, but I couldn't relate to the main character (no, I'm not even going to tell you her name because I want you to go in blind). But somewhere along the lines, I started to become intrigued with the story because it became this strange, wild thing that I couldn't piece together.Pfeff’s flirting with Caroline, giving a romantic first kiss in the moonlight, awakes so many foreign feelings and pure excitement Caroline has never felt before. This was not quite as traumatising as its prequel, We Were Liars, for me personally, but still displayed a focus on a wide array of issues, interspersed with scenes of summer fun and how the white and wealthy live. There is something so compelling about reading about the genuinely hard-hitting and the eye-roll worthy 'woe betide me' side-be-side. It is true I do not suffer fools.Poor little Cadence Sinclair is wealthy. She is loved. She is one of the Sinclairs, a good-looking "old-money Democrat" family, think the Kennedys, without the political aspirations. They have names like Liberty, Taft, and Tipper. They go to Ivy League schools. They have trust funds. They have sired a generation of children, the leader of which is Cadence. Cadence and her crew call themselves "The Liars." The Liars are composed of her cousins Mirren, Johnny, and the outcast "Healthcliff," Indian love interest, Gat.
