Theta Z1 (reviewed here) was the first consumer 360 camera to have 1-inch sensors, which made it very popular for virtual tours. While the RAW mode allows for better dynamic range and colours the Theta X does have a resolution nearly double that of the Theta Z1. The higher resolution allows you to zoom into the image without losing as much quality.

It does that thanks to twin 48mp Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensors and a Qualcomm QCS605 chip, which is a significant step-up compared to most 360º cameras.
