When I reviewed the 55U8QFT it had a few issues, several of which have been ironed out since launch. However, the bigger screen highlights some remaining niggles and shines a light on some that I hadn’t spotted before. VIDAA U5: An easy, smart and intuitive OS, simply access to rich contents and global applications (Disney+, Youtube, Netflix and Freeview Play etc.), making your TV more interesting.Certainly, as far as fundamentals such as colour fidelity, detail retrieval and motion handling are concerned, the Hisense has very little to apologise for. It may miss out the very last scintilla of tone or shade variation, but it nevertheless draws on a broad and convincing palette of colours. It differentiates well, even in wide open areas of apparently uniform colour, and is convincingly naturalistic where skin-tones are concerned. The Hisense 65A6BGTUK uses advanced technologies to deliver stunning picture quality. The TV has a 4K UHD display with a 3840×2160 pixels resolution. This ensures you get a highly detailed picture with vivid colors and sharp contrast. The TV also features HDR technology that enhances the brightness and contrast of the images. This results in a more lifelike viewing experience, with pop colours and images that jump out of the screen. Smart Features The Hisense 65A6BGTUK is available in a 65-inch size, which is perfect for large living rooms and entertainment spaces. However, if you’re looking for a smaller or larger size, Hisense offers a range of other sizes in the A6G series, including 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 75-inch models. It’s important to consider your room size and viewing distance when choosing the right size for your TV. Hisense hasn’t pursued any of the new-fangled TV features that have come to prominence recently, so there’s no VRR, ALLM, HFR or eARC; no Filmmaker mode, no Dolby Vision IQ or Netflix Calibrated mode.

The Hisense 65A6BGTUK does not feature a One Connect Box. One Connect Box is a feature commonly found on Samsung TVs, allowing for a cleaner setup by connecting all your external devices to a separate box instead of directly to the TV. However, the Hisense 65A6BGTUK features a variety of input ports, including HDMI, USB, and Ethernet, which provide ample connectivity options for all your external devices. Max light output HDR (high dynamic range) while displaying small white square taking up 10% of the screen (measured in Nits) While this isn’t surprising for a budget TV, it doesn’t necessarily mean the HDR performance will be bad – as long as the tone-mapping is good. When it comes to HDR10 content, the A6G mapped the colours quite well but was clearly clipping the highlights. This is fairly common with 4,000 and 10,000 nits content, but the A6G was also clipping images graded at 1,000 nits. ARRAffinity cookie is set by Azure app service, and allows the service to choose the right instance established by a user to deliver subsequent requests made by that user.

Alexa Built-in: Do more on your TV with your voice, ask Alexa to play music, hear the news, get weather and control your smart home, and more. The interface is separated into several sections, but apps is where the action is. The app selection is focused rather than bountiful; Netflix has pride of place on the top row and all the UK catch-up apps are covered (as Freeview Play), with Disney+ and Britbox available also. There’s VIDAA Free, which rounds up a selection of free content from the likes of Plex, Vevo, YouTube and Facebook Watch for more options. Max light output HDR (high dynamic range) while displaying small white square taking up 60% of the screen (measured in Nits)
