About this deal

Through my years of playing board games at local meet-ups, I’ve seen and tried various games (including games in the works). As a result, I’ve created this Animal Crossing Monopoly guide to help you learn about the game, how to play, and other tips along the way. So read on to explore this complete guide on this fantastic game! What is Animal Crossing? In this Animal Crossing Edition Monopoly Game, kids and adults can enjoy island life and immerse themselves in the colorful and creative world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. After your first trip around the board, you choose a Skill card with an ability you can use throughout the game. Moving around the board with custom tokens inspired by the video game, you complete island tasks and meet other characters. Instead of buying properties and paying rent, you collect bugs, fish, fossils, and fruit. You can also stop at Nook's Cranny and cash in Bells to buy decorations. These decorations are worth Nook Miles, and the player with the most Nook Miles wins the game"

The way I look at it is the game has sold around 32 million copies, so if a huge percentage of these people were up in arms about this game, or thought it had no content etc, I would expect to see tonnes of copies of the game being sold cheaply on E-bay etc, just like you can buy the latest call of duty games pretty cheap not long after release, of course there are not loads of copies being sold and few that are cost pretty much retail.

If you land on an island first, you can place your token on it. This costs no money, and you’ll receive the resource from that island. They will also take the top Resource token from the pile corresponding to the space they landed on. The purple player discovered this island so they will get to take the top resource token from the pile. Monopoly is one of the most classic games you’ll find throughout the years. Today, Monopoly has various themes to choose from depending on your age, hobbies, etc.

Just like the original, the chance cards could be good or bad. Some allowed you to keep them for special moves; others made you pay or collect money. The best were the cards that you got to keep hidden and use at anytime! Pros You will receive the corresponding Nook Miles for any Nook Miles cards that you successfully completed. Hey there, gamer! It's time to take a break from the game console and share your love for Animal Crossing: New Horizons with your family and friends gathered around this fun and exciting Animal Crossing Edition Monopoly Game. Customized to the super-popular game from Nintendo, it brings you villager tokens and new ways to play, with collecting and world-building and of course… bells. Roll the special die to see what surprises await you under every Animal Crossing-themed card. There's also a Nook's Cranny die that determines which type of resources can be sold. Play and watch as your island grows into something amazing! 2 to 4 players. Ages 8 and up. Some things are the same as any other version of Monopoly, so I’ll cover this stuff first. Jail, Free Parking, Go to Jail and Chance spaces all make a return in this game. Railway Stations have been stylised to ‘Dodo Airlines’ and largely act the same as other iterations (but they’re free to use and still allow you to use the GO space). There are two dice. However, only one die is used for movement (a standard six-sided die), the other (the Nook’s Cranny die) is used in the game’s shop mechanic – see the next paragraph for a full explanation. Animal Crossing has actually been around for years before the newest addition to the switch. Today, you can play Animal Crossing on various Nintendo devices. Bottom Line Up Front

It’s different from the classic since you don’t buy properties. Instead, you can create a team of various Marvel heroes. Pros The game ends after each player has reached the GO space and have had a chance to buy Decoration cards. Needless to say, my son was thrilled to receive Animal Crossing Monopoly for his birthday – and I’ll be honest – I am actually having a pretty fun time playing this board game with him. You’re still trying to collect a set, though. Once you collect a set, you can build holdfasts and castles. Another big difference in this game is you are going to be rolling two dice. One dice is your standard 1-6, which tells you how many spaces to move. The other dice has a bug, fish, fossil, fruit, or leaf on it. When you roll this dice, you can sell your resource tiles to the bank based on what your roll.
