About this deal

Corsair does however have an ace up its sleeve in the form of ultra-bright and space-saving Capellix LEDs.

Naturally, the high-speed nature of the Corsair ML140 RGB fans means that when they are running at maximum RPM the noise level is going to be high. Corsair 280mm H115i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Cooler with LCD Upgrade Kit Corsair H115i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB AIO w/ 2.The fans also have PWM control, which means you can adjust their speed from 500 to 1,700 RPM, depending on your cooling needs and noise preferences. Corsair has outfitted this AIO series with its Capellix LED technology with 33 of the ultra-bright and tiny new LEDs packed into a module on top of the CPU block. The pre-installed pump cap is a stylish, glossy black, while the alternate pump cap is more transparent to let your CAPELLIX LEDs shine through. Also the LS have Digital Editions that means there is a digital screen on the water block, note the screen is just i think for temperatures and it's not a full screen on the water block like the NZXT stuff.

As well as being illuminated by 33 ultra-bright Capellix LEDs, the Elite Capellix cooler series is sporting a new Corsair packaging design. dBA is not “silent” by any means, but it is still a modest level for this level of thermal performance, with other coolers in the 45 – 50 dBA range. Users can also choose between quiet, balanced, extreme or zero RPM performance modes - balanced is the default, while zero RPM switches off the fans at low load - and we like the fact that there are optional emergency triggers that can be used to ramp-up fan speed, change LED colour or initiate a full shutdown when temperature exceeds a user-defined limit. The usage of 1 wiring harness does make cable management a literal breeze, and being able to keep an eye on coolant temperature is a nice touch as well. You can also adapt your style and get personal, with 33 Ultra-bright CAPELLIX LEDs in addition to eight RGB LEDs per fan let you completely customize your cooler’s look. Even though Corsair states that the ML140 RGB fans included with the H115i Elite Capellix should run up to 2000 RPM, no matter how we configured the fans, we could only reach around 1800 RPM which produced noticeably lower noise levels compared with previous Corsair AIOs equipped with these fans.
