About this deal

By offering structure in the form of a major and minor arcana like that of past tarots, but combining them with bold new archetypes, symbology and meanings more suited to the present, the DREAMS OF GAIA TAROT allows for a more personal, intimate and effective system for using cards as a roadmap to navigate your life path. Embark on this extraordinary journey of undoing, of being and becoming and be inspired by the knowledge that all that manifests in your future is born of choices you make today. The Stages Of Life – These cards represent the different stages that we move through as we live our lives. Every stage of life from birth to death is represented here and they relate to things we have lived or things that have influenced how we live. By offering structure in the form of a major and minor arcana like that of past tarots, but combining them with bold new archetypes, symbology, and meanings more suited to the present, the Dreams of Gaia Tarot allows for a more personal, intimate, and effective system for using cards as a roadmap to navigate your life path. Embark on this extraordinary journey of undoing, of being, and becoming, and be inspired by the knowledge that all that manifests in your future is born of choices you make today.

The minor arcana represents the temporary things that you may be experiencing in your life at any given time. The artwork on the cards is inspired by nature and the cycles of life. Each card features an image from one of the four suits, along with a short phrase or quote about that suit. For example, the Ace of Wands features an image of a fire elemental surrounded by sparks, which reads “A blaze ignites your path.” A dream may represent an unresolved issue or concern that is currently influencing your life. The Tarot cards can reveal how you are coping with this issue or what you need to do to resolve it. When interpreting a dream, be open-minded and allow the cards to guide you towards insights that are specific to you. Each card is a delight in itself, with sensual images and vibrant colours. For example, card XXII, Intuition, depicts a cloaked woman sitting on a golden throne. In her right hand, she cups a sphere. Inside the sphere is the cosmos. Sitting atop the sphere is an owl. In the foreground, there is a spider’s web which contains a spider and a full moon. This is the card of the unconscious mind and intuitive skills and feelings. On The Tarot’ gives some thorough information on how to use the cards, which includes; using the cards regularly, how to phrase a question, taking time to do a reading, tarot journalling, and tarot as the mirror of your life. These are archetypes that we all are in some way, whether we are male, female or gender-neutral. They are aspects of our nature that we possess or have moved through or are influenced by.

Many people believe that dreams are a way to communicate with the subconscious mind. Dreams can be interpreted by a tarot reader as a way to gain insight into your personal life and the future. Ravynne Phelan has a distinctive and unique art style – it is highly stylised and very detailed. When she depicts the natural environment she uses a 'realistic’ pallette, however when she depicts otherworldly beings she ventures into spectacularly imaginative colour schemes. Ravynne’s artworks, as noted before, absolutely glow – her Minor Arcana is colour-coded with Earth featuring rich greens, Air delivery by icy pastels, Fire with glowing oranges and yellows, and Water by deep indigo and pale blue.Seek– reveal the answers to the questions within. Learn who you were, who you are, and who you wish to become. The tarot will help you communicate with the Divine, and your inner self; know your conscious mind, and explore the unconscious forces – the hard-wired beliefs and patterns that influence your behaviour and choices. Knowledge is power. Self-knowledge and awareness are the keys to empowerment. Dreams can be a window into your subconscious and can provide clues to understanding yourself and your motivations. To read a dream, first determine its meaning based on your waking thoughts and experiences. Once you have an understanding of the dream’s context, use the Tarot cards to unveil its hidden meanings. Heal – there are experiences in your past that can do harm in your present because you have bound them to you by holding on to the emotions and beliefs they have fostered. These bonds are the foundation of all that limits and restricts you in the present, and prevents you from moving forward with confidence and trust. Awareness will help you heal and let go. The Major Arcana cards offer a glimpse into the subconscious mind, and can be used to read for general qualities such as intuition, creativity, and imagination.

By explaining the things that may be happening in your life, the minor arcana allows you to find the guidance to embrace or correct the things that are affecting your day-to-day life. Worth It? When using the Tarot for readings, it is important to keep in mind that the cards are not simply about predicting the future – they can also be used for deeper self-exploration and understanding. These cards represent different aspects that have a major impact on our ability to make choices and act upon them. These cards relate to why we are here and what we are here to achieve – whether it be just the individual or humanity as a whole. 9. Knowledge, 10. Wisdom, 11. Healing, 12. Love, 13. Union, 14. Self, 15. Abundance, 16. Destiny Grow– you are in a constant, cyclic state of growth and change. Growth and evolution are both inevitable and unavoidable, yet so many fear them, despite the fact that life itself is both a transformative and transmutative process. The tarot will help you to recognise and respond when a time of growth and change approaches, and to face it with increased confidence. You are here to live and experience life; to fear less and meet your fullest potential. If you are a supporter of the arts, and of Ravynne's art, know that a few dollars a month - less than what you would spend on a cup of coffee - can go a long, long way to bringing more beauty and magic into the world.
