Revealed to be the site where Valentine wants to test drive his radio signal, Harry is there when the trial run gets started. In June 2018, Vaughn announced his new film studio along with several projects in development including Statesman, confirming that Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry would reprise their roles in the film.
Following the global success of blockbuster movie KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE (starring Channing Tatum and Colin Firth) we launch the sequel to the hit comic-book series by MARK MILLAR and DAVE GIBBONS. A spy organisation recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. His DC Comics work includes the seminal Superman: Red Son, and at Marvel Comics he created The Ultimates – selected by Time magazine as the comic book of the decade, Wolverine: Old Man Logan, and Civil War – the industry’s biggest-selling superhero series in almost two decades. While the car’s owner doesn’t come up in general conversation, one of his friends did wonder in advance whether yellow was the best choice for getting away with grand theft auto.No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. Harry makes plenty of missteps in the movie and, while he believes in Eggsy’s potential, he doesn't have the shared experiences that make Eggsy and London’s familial relationship in the book so great. But in mid-October it was confirmed that the scheduling issues had been settled between both studios. I have read only a few of Mark Millar's previous books: Superior, Kick Ass and Supercrooks and I have to say I loved each one to the point where I have read and re-read each of them. In newer collected editions of the first volume of the series, the book The Secret Service was renamed after the film adaption Kingsman: The Secret Service and all references to MI6 were replaced by "Kingsman".
meanwhile, what's the secret link between a series of kidnapped sci-fi stars, the murder of an entire town, and a dark secret from inside Mount Everest? While the comic does include a spy training camp, it’s really just meant to put Eggsy through his paces—since there isn’t a hole in the roster to be filled, there’s no competition, and we don’t spend any time getting to know any other spies-in-training in the comic. I especially liked the involved celebrity targets - William Shatner, David Beckham, and Mick Jagger, among others, are taken hostage by the lead villain of the piece for a diabolical plot that actually makes some sense - and the dark humor (such as an unexpected fatal snowmobile crash in the opening pages) that worked without seeming too mean-spirited.Just saying to Matthew [Vaughn wha]t a cool post-cred[its-scene it] would have been [in] HIT-GIRL ringing Eggsy's door-bell, [the] audience knowing imminent shit [is about] to go down" (Tweet) – via Twitter. Like most readers and cinema lovers we have our opinions on the comic and the movie, which we discussed in a Facebook Live. This is different to the film in a few parts, whilst a great book i do prefer the film and i think they did improve on this where they could when rewriting it to the screen. I found myself reading the last chapter just to see it out and, at the end, feeling a little disappointed in having high hopes dashed. After ambushing and battling Arnold's troops, freeing the captured celebrities, including Pierce Brosnan, Patrick Stewart and David Beckham, Gary engages in a fist fight with Arnold's henchman and former Kingsman agent Gazelle, and leaves to confront Arnold.

The comic tells the story of Gary Unwin or Eggsy who lives in London with his mother, a baby brother and an abusive stepdad. Yes, of course, Eggsy's training regime is massively curtailed, but there's a long history of that stretching back to the early Marvel Superheroes (and probably beyond) and up to the point where the hero is fully trained everything works. When Gary rejects the offer, Greaves attempts to poison him, but Gary has switched their drinks, classifying it as "a second nature" just before Greaves dies. A stand-alone five-page one-shot, Kingsman: The Secret Service: Mum's the Word, written by Phillip Huxley and illustrated by Myron Macklin, was published in the anthology annual Millarworld Annual 2016 in June 2016. The book has a good message to impart of how anyone can make something of themselves even if they come from nothing, and that they shouldn’t let stereotypes define their identity, but it’s diluted with a lot of cynicism from elsewhere in the story. In the movie, without someone like Jack in his life (albeit infrequently), it’s more understandable and realistic that Gary should feel helpless in his situation. There’s a joy to the film’s action that makes it feel more Jason Bourne or Jack Bauer than James Bond. With that said, it was still a very exciting read and if I hadn't seen the movie it would probably would've been 5 stars. The films were released by 20th Century Studios, while The Red Diamond and Big Game were published by Image Comics.
