About this deal

His understanding of which ends are the significant levers for the country and deft maneuvering to achieve the prosperity and safety of Israel is nothing short of remarkable. This is an amazing and ongoing story that will be reviewed by probably more detractors than admirers. When I entered the cabinet room for the new government’s first meeting, I was astonished to see that the cabinet table was laden with a sumptuous breakfast: omelets, cheese, various breads, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, butter, and cakes and cookies galore. Written by one who has lived the nation's history, readers will be privy to the behind-the-scenes machinations of the country of Israel, from its founding to the present.

From a purely literary point of view, this is without doubt the best autobiography written by an Israeli prime minister. When Grace saves his life in a kayaking accident - if it was an accident - and Evan's troubled son arrives to stay, all three are drawn together in a way that forces a reckoning with their personal traumas and draws them back into society. In the book, I encountered a cautious leader who is committed to ‘non-extremism’ and is proud of the resources his governments have invested in Arab communities. While the details of the book about where he was and the positions he held are likely all accurate the views he espouses are a work of fiction. This is a fantastic book, both in its historic and current affairs of the Israeli nation and the life (up to 2022) of its brilliant Prime Minister. In a book published amid Russia’s war on Ukraine, Netanyahu repeatedly lauds Vladimir Putin for his intellect and toughness. Following the 10 February 2009 parliamentary election, in which Likud placed second and right-wing parties won a majority, Netanyahu formed a coalition government. Some of his failures are described in a few lines with few details while his accomplishments are described more thoroughly. He is a Democrat, chairman of the Senate foreign relations committee and a major supporter of Israel. Netanyahu is an avid student of history to the extent that he often was applauded at the UN and the US Congress when he discussed current political issues from the viewpoint of not repeating the past.

From a purely literary point of view, this is without doubt the best autobiography written by an Israeli prime minister . James Baker, secretary of state to the first President Bush, barred Netanyahu from the state department. Bibi Netanyahu is the longest serving Prime Minister of Israel (15 years) and is the first Prime Minister to be born in Israel after the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948.They increased their trade with each other to the extent that 4 Arab nations agreed to a peace treaty with Israel, realizing that peace was necessary for prosperity. And be sure to check out my bio page to learn a little about me and the Picture Book/Chapter Book Calendars I sell on Etsy! In Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu’s “compelling” (The Economist) and “fascinating” (The Wall Street Journal) New York Times bestselling autobiography, the prime minister of Israel tells the story of his family, his path to leadership, and his unceasing commitment to defending his country and securing its future. In some places the book felt like Netanyahu’s attempt to take down all of his haters, rather than give an honest assessment of what worked and what didn’t. From their earliest days, Bibi and his close-knit brothers, Yoni and Iddo, were instilled with purpose.

For his admirers and critics alike, he has produced a compelling memoir and an intriguing study of power. As the autobiography moves into his young adult career, the narration moves from the personal passion which drives Netanyahu to the practical steps he takes to enter Israeli society to promote and protect his beloved country. In a recently released transcript of an off-the-record conversation between Obama and a group of reporters, the then president charged that like the world’s strongmen and their future White House fanboy, Netanyahu subscribed to “Putinism” himself. Bibi took me to another crash course of Israel, not the one that I read in the bible, not that we have been reading about and hearing on the news.To read this autobiography is to read the history of Israel and its growth into one of the strongest nations in the world. Presenting a strong defense for his country and its interests before the United Nations, US Presidential Administrations and the US Congress, while trying to engage hostile parties with a magnanimous refusal to resort to ad hominem attacks display his political sensibilities admirably. Meanwhile, Trump lashes out at American Jews for not showing him the love evangelicals do: “US Jews need to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel – Before it is too late! Of course as such of these books are to be written from the point of view of a soldier from the israeli military.
