It changed a lot from the second book, because we actually read about something else and the love story between Hades and Persephone evolved. The epic saga culminates in the third and final book, A Touch of Malice, where the stakes are higher than ever before. It doesn’t help that Demeter is furious at her daughter for being involved with Hades and is taking it out on the world by plunging them into severe winter weather in the middle of summer.

I also liked the touch that they all had horns as part of their divine form which is something I hadn’t seen before. Prepare to be transported to a realm where gods and goddesses walk among mortals, and destinies are shaped by passion and sacrifice. It will obviously feature a little bit of overlap, but flipping between the two series will offer more enlightenment to events with both perspectives while maintaining some of the suspense for the larger storyline.They began to be under the God’s radar and this thing caused conflict, which drowns dynamic to the plot. I really enjoyed this book, and I had A LOT of opinions and thoughts about it, which you can read all about here! In saying that, this book and whole series so far is incredibly binge-worthy and addictive and I am mildly obsessed with this series 😍 I was hoping that after the events of book one, Persephone would begin to grow as a person, to trust Hades, and continue to improve her communication skills with the man she claims to love.

Now, this didn’t really take away from the main story of Hades and Persephone and may not be anything of note to other readers so it’s probably just me being picky! Everyone, including her best friend Lexa, thinks she’s just a normal college aged girl, but she’s actually a goddess.

While out with friends one night at a nightclub, she happens to go upstairs to where the owner of the nightclub makes deals.
