As with the others, it’s complete with a rotating, angled chuck for an easier connection to the tyre valve.Making sure that your vehicle’s tyres have the correct pressure of air (as identified in your vehicle handbook) is important to ensure that they are functioning as appropriate. It’s a doddle to use, because it’s easy to press onto the tyre valve, and it then gives you an accurate readout in whatever measure of pressure you like, including KPA and kg/cm3 for trucks or bikes, as well as pounds per square inch (psi) and bar. The display stayed live for a long time – Laser says it should be 85 seconds, but for us it remained on for nearly five minutes. Clearly related to our RTG4 winner (opposite), this model was larger, with a bigger display and a depth gauge in the base. Despite not being the best option in the snow (the steering is a little indirect), its performance in the rain and on dry surfaces was exceptional making it our top winter tyre.
