It should have been Luke - superhero expert and comic-lover - who was given superpowers and instructed to save two universes. One brother is a comic book kid and the other brother prefers to have nothing to do with comic books. However, when Zack is kidnapped by his arch-nemesis, it is Luke and his friends who come to the rescue. Lots of references to superheroes but you can enjoy the book without having extensive knowledge of this genre, although it’s frustrating that the reference to ‘14 fingers’ is never fully explained?It's also the perfect next step for readers who may have loved the Baby Aliens series and want to up their reading game. I love the book so much that we’ve given it to a few other children in the neighborhood for their birthdays. my most favorite part was when Luke needs a wee but when he comes back and realises his brother Zack is a super hero he is devastated that it wasn't him.
