About this deal

And Pure Grace, well, only smells like Water Lily. I don't get any other note. Or perhaps, it smells like Ombrelle, and maybe that product shares the exact same notes. It's perfect for an everyday signature scent, and for the workplace if you're not allowed to wear strong scents. I worked in F&B while I was wearing this as my signature scent, and it worked great. The sillage is pretty intimate, so you would have to stand very close to me to smell it. But you can smell it easily on yourself and your skin all day -- it doesn't just disappear into nothing. For the price point and for being an EDT, I think longevity is great! Ignore the above votes that say this reminds them of Jennifer Aniston's debut perfume. It smells NOTHING like it. Absolutely nothing. The scent by "Clean," I've never smelled but I would bet money that it smells identical to that one. But not Jennifer Aniston. who and when can you wear it? I think it's fine as unisex, a man wearing it will smell of inoffensive neutral mild soap and shampoo. Just clean and showered. Since it is so mild and neutral it can be worn any time of year, but would be great in fall with a cozy sweater and also in summer when you want a mild light smell.there are no sharp citrus notes here so it would be perfect for relaxing on the beach or q summer picnic when you want to just smell clean. Definitely not a evening scent unless you are going to bed TO SLEEP in comfy pajamas and cuddling your dog or teddy bear. On a night time date at a fancy restaurant or sophisticated event this scent is not enough at all. It is pretty smelling, clean and inoffensive so would be great for the office or church or weddings I find this a nondescript, inoffensive, floral-leaning musk. Not a musk bomb though...just an underwhelming, safe musk.

They have a clean, soapy smell, so they are perfect for spraying right after showering and moisturizing your skin. While the dry-down is soft, it has the capacity to smell MUSTY. I can't figure out whether it's the jasmine, rose, or musk (or all three combined) that is giving it that musty odor, but it's not in the least appealing. The situation that you wanna look friendly, not a sweety, like hang out with some guy flirting with you but you're not sure yet that you want him to be boyfriend or just friend Soap! Smells very nice. I like it. I've always liked it. I've had it for...at least a year now, if not two years. It's not something I reach for often necessarily but it's very clean. It's 200% unisex.

My husband once asked ”who used hair spray in here?” Few hours later he asked if I had a new perfume and that I smelled good. Another day he asked ”oh did you just take a shower?” Mind you.. it was wash day and I had not showered lol!! It's not a bad fragrance, but it's definitely not something I would buy. First of all, the fragrance itself is just... meh. Nice, but too basic… Don't get me wrong: it's delicate, fresh and clean, floral, slightly sweet and soapy. However, it's nothing memorable. I would love a body cream, deodorant or body wash with this fragrance, but not a perfume. Rather than an EDT it seems almost a cologne because of the low longevity. It's a good scent, but I almost feel like it has no personality. There are also some pros: I really like the minimal aesthetic of the bottle. I think it can be a good perfume to give to young people who want to approach the world of perfumes, quite blind buy safe in this case. Speaking of price, it's not bad, maybe slightly overpriced. By using a body lotion as a base, the fragrance stayed on my skin longer." Some people really seem to love this, and I wanted to, but as other reviewers have noted, it smells like a harsh, screechy freesia-and-baby-powder fabric softener sheet to (and on) me. I didn't think soap though when i first smelled it although i now know by association what that's meant to mean, and I didn't like any of the other philosophy fragrances that were out at that time. I was probably 4 or 5 years old, at my auntie's cottage in St-Côme QC, when I smelled my first water lily. You can trust the main accords proportion they've shown above for this one, exactly it's like that! Pure Grace is simple, unpretentious and shy. I personally like it, but am not crazy about it. Two reasons: it's too weak and soft, and also, it doesn't demand to be remembered. I don't think this is old fashioned, nor sexy, nor interesting, and certainly not memorable. But it's *nice* and clean, and finally my curiosity is satiated. I've smelled this before though, no doubt about it! It's very familiar, although I can't recall who it was on (it's actually driving me nuts). I have no doubt most people have encountered this somewhere, at some point. You'll probably think "Ohhhh...this! OK, I know this smell! 💡" Additionally, I was pregnant with my bubba (He's absolutely beautiful, thanks for asking!) last year/early this year, and the degree of powder in this scent made it intolerable to me while I was up the duff (I bought this perfume not long prior to getting pregnified). Unfortunately, I *know* this made me hesitant about cultivating a love for this fragrance. That old perfume-nausea association. what I love about philosophy is the fragrances are soapy and inoffensive but have a selection of powerfully emotive notes.
