Nozue feels he has reached a point in his life where there is no point of progressing further, as he continues to turn down chances to advance in both his professional and personal lives. He confides this in his 29-year-old subordinate, Togawa, and jokes about being a young girl to feel the excitement of life again. Togawa unexpectedly takes him to a diner, where he has his first experience eating a pancake. Nozue learns he can still have new experiences at his age, while Togawa shares that he has respected him ever since he encouraged him to be positive during his job interview. After taking a photo, Nozue hopes it will not be too pixelated given that it is an outdated device. After mentioning how he took a photo of a hot guy, Togawa asks if Nozue thinks he is hot. Where the train is arriving in a short while, Togawa says he and Nozue should do what girls do, namely go and eat pancakes for lunch, straight away. At a pancake restaurant, Nozue feels out of place, and Togawa asks whether he has a special someone in his life, before clarifying it is girl talk. With it what Nozue said, that he wanted to be a girl, Togawa raises the question again. Their relationship was so gradual but healthy and shown in such a beautiful way! And the DOMESTICITY. So many people in this world like Nozue get to a certain age where they feel like it is too late to do what they want with their lives and this show essentially reminds you that is never too late to pursue what you want to do, try something new, and have some fun while you are at it. As Nozue and Togawa continue their relationship, Nozue realizes he is afraid of criticism from their peers. After Kakitani, Nozue's friend and co-worker, nearly figures out their relationship, Nozue suggests to Togawa that they put some distance between each other, causing Togawa to become upset. After spending some time apart, Nozue confesses to Kakitani and Kirishima about his relationship with Togawa. Kirishima has Togawa bring Nozue home, allowing them to make up. At the same time, Togawa announces that he is transferring jobs so that he can grow in his career and eventually be on equal standing with Nozue. Watching their interactions and conversations was fun. I adored the way Togawa seduced Nozue and made the most of the anti-aging procedure. This drama was very satisfying all around. But, the fact that a romance aspect is added onto this beautiful life lesson that is presented throughout the series, makes the show all the more worthwhile. Togawa has liked Nozue for so long and seeing their relationship finally start to blossom made my heart flutter ten times over. Those two are so freakin cute together and they understand and complete one another and it’s nice to know that they have each other to experience all that life has to offer together moving forward. It is slow paced and cute and funny and I'm just wAITING FOR THE NEXT UPDATES BECAUSE PLEASE. THE PART WHERE IT LEFT OF......now why would anyone do this to me.

In an unexpected turn of events, the two of them end up visiting a pancake shop bustling with girls. The romance between Nozue and Togawa was so realistic! I loved the slow-burn of it. We really got a lot of cute scenes of them bonding. Nozue shared his fears, and Togawa tried to help him overcome them. They went on a lot of sweet non-dates, and genuinely enjoyed themselves. It was so lovely!
