About this deal

This standard Porro Prism binocular brings sports enthusiasts to their game with easily focused, wide-angle views that are great for tracking - and keeping up with - fast moving subjects, and provide UV ray protection so you never have to worry about the sun. The strap problem is easily solved, I always attached PeakDesign connectors to my cameras and binoculars so I can use comfy wide PeakDesign straps with them, this helps spread the weight around your neck but if you are looking for a pair of travel binoculars, look elsewhere. It's cloudy so I won't be able to see any stars tonight, but I did test looking into a pocket torch on a black background, and it really wasn't bad.

For all those interested in bird watching, trekking, visiting a wildlife sanctuary or exploring historical places, a pair of binoculars is the first and most important piece of equipment to carry along. While the 10x50s can be handheld, the stability of a monopod will provide better views, yet let you have the flexibility to move easily and cover a lot of the sky. Theh are not bulky, have less weight with great field of view and the performance is equal or better than the 10x50 versions. I did two campings with professional astrophotographers before but they were focused on photography. However, it got to the point where me and my wife were constantly passing the binoculars to each other to see the birds before they flew away. Keep an eye on Perseus as well as the peak is later but they are meteors at this time, and Perseus is easy to locate.

Knasal: I have little star gazing experience through many IOS applications like skyguide, sky safari, stellarium, night sky with naked eye not with binoculars. There is always a better pair of binoculars, a better telescope, an piece of gear that will show more, is more perfect. But since there will be enough time to read many things i feel i'm bogging down with too much information. The optics are clear and bright, focus is a piece of cake to obtain, the magnification and range are great and they fit very comfortably and securely in my hand.

Very happy, and come to find out another friend of mine owns the same set and he is happy with it as well.I've only ever owned one pair of binoculars before, a smaller Olympus that my parents bought me 20 years ago.

Cookies can also be used by our advertisers and the Google Analytics tool which gathers statistical data.I confess the attraction for me is its comparative rarity, prompting bystanders to glance askance and wonder what on earth it is. I have a fairly large garden area with multiple bird feeders and already have a great (more expensive) pair of Pentax binoculars that I keep in the house for quickly grabbing and getting a closer look at the birds. I need to pull the rubber eye-cups down to see the entire field of view, which bugs me a lot while birding. Coming from a photography background, yes there is slight chromatic abberation along high contrast edges in the background but you have to actively look for that.
