About this deal

In a phone at this level we don’t expect high-end video features like stabilized 4K and 120fps slow-mo, but the Redmi 10 is limited to 1080p, 30 frames per second capture. And even at this lowly capture rate it can’t manage electronic/software stabilization. Actual available memory and storage capacity may vary or be reduced due to a number of factors: As the operating system occupies part of the memory (RAM), the actual available space is less than the marked memory capacity; due to the installation of the operating system and pre-installed programs occupying part of the flash memory (ROM), the actual available storage space is less than the marked capacity for flash storage; We’ve still only just covered the phone’s first camera. The 8MP ultra-wide is closer to what we've expected in a budget phone. It is a low-end OmniVision camera with softer images and limited dynamic range.

The rear camera consists of a 50 MP (wide) + 2 MP (depth) sensor lenses. On the front, there is a single-camera setup: 5 MP. The smartphone comes in 6.71 inches size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1650 pixels resolution. a b Sudarshan (2022-03-17). "Redmi 10 launched in India with Snapdragon 680 SoC, MIUI 13, and more". Gizmochina . Retrieved 2022-07-21. The Xiaomi Redmi 10C is an entry-level smartphone and an update to the Xiaomi Redmi 10. Despite being a low-end phone it mounts a large 6.71 inch display, which however has a resolution of only 1650×720 pixels . It is compatible with Prime Video HD and Netflix HD. The fast 2.4 GHz eight-core processor has been set up for maximum energy efficiency. It offers sufficient performance for most games or light multitasking, the latter slowed down by the RAM memory of only 4 GB. This Chinese smartphone supports ROM memory expansion up to 1TB via microSD card. Guaranteed Connectivity but no NFC

Redmi 10C has a non-removable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, [8] when Indian Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Power have a battery with a capacity of 6000mAh. [9] All models have 18 W fast charging support but in-box charger has 10W power. [10] Camera [ edit ] Color reproduction is poor in less than solid lighting, and when the Redmi 10 tries to help things by applying color filters to sunsets, the results rarely match what your eyes perceive. We noticed this when taking photos outside. This kind of screen brightness doesn’t make the preview image appear all that clear in direct sunlight. Cameras

A 50MP primary lens with an F/1.8 lens slot with the Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, in addition to supporting 1080 video capture at 30FPS, supports panorama technology, HDR, and night mode. A Corning Gorilla Glass is protecting its 6.71-inch large HD+ IPC LCD screen. There is reading mode and color temperature adjustment for convening and comfortable reading. Through the 50 MP main rear camera, you can record up to 1080p@30fps videos. Samsung ISOCELL JN1 is used as a sensor here. The 5 MP front camera can deliver up to the mark result under daylight conditions. There’s no improvement to battery charging with this generation, though. The Redmi 10 has 18W charging, although it comes with a 22.5W charger. We used a power meter and plugged it into both the bundled charger and a 30W one. In both cases the phone only draws around the claimed 18W.This is combined with an Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM LPDDR4x, or 64/128GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage with the ability to expand via microSD card up to 1TB. This phone will help deliver uninterrupted performance no matter what it is by adding a faster typing speed, which means faster installation and loading of all your favorite apps. Software The device is available in different colors like Graphite Gray, Ocean Blue, and Mint Green. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 610. The Redmi 10 by Xiaomi launched in August 2021, arriving a little more than a year after the Redmi 9. Usually stereo arrays like this have one speaker much bassier/heavier sounding than the other, but roughly match up higher-frequency output to provide a sense of L/R channel balance. Sky gradients often look unrealistic, and clipped highlights in clouds are to be expected. The Redmi 10’s image signal processor (ISP), the brains behind the camera, doesn’t seem to be so hot.

Xiaomi launches new Redmi 10 in India with SD680 and 6,000mAh battery". GSMArena.com . Retrieved 2022-07-21. The gap in gaming performance between this and the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is vast considering the fairly small price disparity. The Xiaomi Redmi 10C works on MIUI 13, based on Android 11. although there is no official word from Xiaomi if the phone will eventually receive an update to the latest version of the Android 12 operating system. The Xiaomi interface includes a large number of features and built-in features that make the user experience better, support for night mode Dark Mode is a favorite of many users. Connectivity The Redmi 10’s dynamic range is bad. The HDR mode can try to hide this to some extent, but it too is faulty, sometimes refusing to engage (when using HDR Auto) and generally pumping out highly inconsistent results. And there's only so much you can do to hide the deficiencies of a crappy sensor with software-based enhancement. Xiaomi Redmi 10C comes with a V-Notch screen with a relatively big bezel at the bottom. But its rear camera design is what sets it apart from other lower-budget smartphones. It also comes in a few different color options with a unique texture and matt finish that brings a bit of premium touch to it. A fingerprint sensor is situated in the rear camera panel that looks elegant.Memory Extension is only available when there is enough storage space on your device. The extension of RAM storage capacity varies across different models. The Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a 5,000mAh battery, much like most of its arch rivals and its significantly larger siblings. We find that while the Moto G50 tends to last longer between charges, few will find any reason to complain here. Bad news: where phones at this level typically have one decent camera and a bunch of duds, the Redmi 10 has no good cameras. Until now we've only really had high-quality 50MP cameras in phones, like those of the Oppo Find X3 Pro. But Samsung, as it has done several times in the past, lowers the tone with the S5KJN1 sensor seen here. Next to a slightly older phone you can buy at a similar price (albeit the lesser storage version), the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, the Redmi 10’s main camera is dismal. Video clips taken with the phone will also often turn out unusable because there is no stabilization.

Color saturation is good too although we do recommend tweaking it a bit. Fresh out of the box the Redmi 10’s color temperature was a little too cool, likely used as a way to make it appear to ‘pop’ a bit more. The Xiaomi Redmi 10's screen is one of the stronger parts of the phone, although primarily against rival brands rather than other Xiaomi Androids you might buy. The Redmi 10 is a 90Hz phone but this skill wasn't enabled as standard. You can choose either 60Hz or 90Hz modes, and the faster one makes Android menus appear to scroll more smoothly.
