You were our devoted Queen, a loving and warm daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great -grandmother, so many things to so many people. Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences are with all the members of the Royal Family at this very sad time. Although I am not a Citizen of the UK, I always loved reading about your leadership through the decades.
As an American expat, I feel the Queen embodied truly great British values and was a stellar example throughout the years. In 1969 I achieved my Queen's Guide qualification - I was the youngest Girl Guide in Nottinghamshire to achieve this so young. Noone is perfect but you did achieve some wonderful things in your life and for that I thank you for your service, rest peacefully your majesty. Queen Elizabeth II was a unique and loyal lady to our Island and we loved her glowing smile and twinkly blue eyes full of mischief. Thank you for all the lives you have touched, for 70 years of morale guidance and your calming influence.How lucky were we to have a Queen who gave a life of service and devotion, mixed with grace, wisdom, joy and laughter? We have been honoured to have you as our Queen and will always remember you with the fondest memories.
Thank you for your many years of dedicated service to our country and indeed those of the Commonwealth and further a field. I still cannot believe our Queen for all of our life has gone, as she was a constant throughout our life and in all episodes of our life, she was there for us no matter what.Three generations of my family - on both my mother and father’s side - have loved you wholeheartedly and have been continuously inspired by you for so very long.
