So, onto the good news, it DOES look like you're cycling your tank and you shouldn't need to start dosing Ammonia; as the balls will be doing exactly that. I don't want to be argumentative but these are supposed to be balls of bacteria. I have tried to find where it says they also produce ammonia. So far I've not found it. I also read where they are supposed to be added each week. I'm sorry but once a tank is fully cycled there should be no reason to continue add more bacteria. The only reason I can see for adding them weekly is to keep you buying their product.I googled the Pure Aquarium crystal balls and unless I am missing it I don't see where it is releasing any ammonia. These are supposed to help supply bacteria to the tank. And are supposed to make your water crystal clear. You still need ammonia to feed that bacteria.
