In a game of boundless exploration, each time you play Monogamy, you a certain to discover something new about one another… and perhaps yourself! Our relationship was pretty solid , but post children being tired all the time, using my imagination to be romantic .

I wished that they’d written in the Monogamy board game’s instructions what to have when starting the game. Monogamy allows you to try new things together, to set aside time for one another and have incredible fun whilst you’re at it! Loved it Me and my boyfriend have great sex life anyway but this just made things that were imaginable actually happen. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be suitable for a male/male couple, and to some extent, I was right – however we managed to find fun ways around it, and it certainly was a very fun experience indeed.However the text on the cards themselves is quite small, so for those of you who are short-sighted like me, you will need to keep your glasses nearby. This led me to be a bit disappointed however, it gave us a good laugh and introduced some new ideas Good fun, took about 2 hours to play.

I do recommend going through the fantasy cards at the beginning and taking out any cards you and your partner either aren't comfortable with or dont have the "tools" necessary to complete the fantasy.

In all fairness, we did find that most of the time we were able to navigate between the ‘His’ and ‘Hers’ questions and was still able to have an extremely fun game.

A few examples of challenges involve: Lick your partner´s X, surprise your partner with dinner, or try X out. The game states that it’s suitable for any couple, however a lot of the questions/tasks were gender specific, so we either had to improvise or choose a different card. I like the variety of questions and challenges, I also like how it can inspire some conversations and introduce you to new kinds of sensations and sexual exploration. A Hot Affair brings back the art of seduction, laughter and lust through a game so neither of you needs to be the instigator.You and your partner will take turns rolling the dice, when moving around on the board you will pass different challenges/questions.
