It’s a metaphor, which says whenever you help someone else, some of the benefits will come back right to you. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari' is packed full of useful messages and tips for city professionals to find lasting happiness. The current world has become highly competitive, which is the primary cause of the rising stress level.

Writing goals send signals to the subconscious mind that state this single thought is far more important than the other 59,999 thoughts. Now imagine you were told a fable so powerful that it made you sell your most prized possessions and leave behind the life you’ve accustomed yourself to. In fact, the way the teachings have been presented in a story format is the most important reason why this book has become so popular among the masses. In a nutshell: This book is one of those books that are trying to give the reader a meaning since people nowadays became totally involved in their career and materialistic life. After reading the book, I incorporated several of them into my life, including the ones that involve positive thinking, visualizing goals and more.

It’s an easy-to-read book (I read it in an afternoon) and the structure works well making it easy to remember what went before, or where to look for a particular part. He is assigned with a task of collecting nine life-saving talismans from safe-keepers located across the globe from Istanbul to Japan to India. A wonderfully crafted fable, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari tells the extraordinary story of Julian Mantle, a lawyer forced to confront the spiritual crisis of his out-of-balance life. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrarimight just be another self-help book for some people, but it remains one of my favourite life-changing books because of the effect it had on me, and I’m grateful for it. Robin Sharma, the author, has created a captivating story that incorporates the classic transition tools into a simple living philosophy. They include living your children’s childhood, practicing gratitude, and gently growing towards your destiny.

At the end of the day, your happiness is a choice you have to make and is a journey you have to take. It takes some time to understand some of the teachings, and requires inflection as to how they can be applied in our own life. I love new age ideas and concepts, but Sharma just reguritates other people's wisdom and doesn't even make it interesting or unique. During his time there, he learns ancient wisdom from a village of sages and brings this wisdom back to John, his former junior colleague walking the same dangerous path as Julian before his transformation. If embraced in daily life, the book contains treasures of wisdom that can improve every person’s life. The fragrant yellow roses of Chapter 12 are a reminder to prioritize serving others for fulfillment; the gifts that we discover through self-improvement are best utilized to make the world better. Simplicity encompassed living a simple life by focusing on your priorities and activities that are truly meaningful. We support you through every step of the way to enable you to make better decisions while saving time and money.
