Dont even say things like the translators promoted this novel, and that's the reason why this is so popular. Books 1-5) Even though I fell in love with the story and the development of the characters, in the beginning of the novel I had some problems about consent during sex. I had some big concerns about this, I know that the idea is that he did it to protect her (and him), and to establish their marriage, and that this type of things were common in medieval times. But I didn't like to read that part, it really shouldn’t ever be portrayed as something excusable. (I actually gave it 3 stars because of this, although my opinion did change throughout the book because of how invested in the plot I got) However, at least, as I kept reading, I watched their relationship grow into something somehow cute. And she started to learn how to want and be wanted by someone. Max is just an innocent bean who got physically and mentally abused by her own father. Our MC grew up without love or care from her family, she never had friends as well... she's quite pitiful to be honest. It's sad that she's been abused so much so that she's a trembling mess in front of her husband.

Ch. 73-74: Ruth explains Ursuline's hostility; Ruth gives Maxi advice how to help with her stuttering. Maxi heals kitchen help; Hebaron wants to recieve healing for his "life threatening" wound. [Manta ep. 60-62] Ch. 78: Riftan says the princess will visit; Maxi prepares whole castle for the guests. Sus acciones y actitudes dejan mucho que desear, si bien más o menos al final nos ofrecen unas pinceladas de lo que fue su pasado y así justificar su psicología, pero a mí parecer es el que menos crece. Ch. 22-23 - they arrive at Balbourne ( capital of Osiriya), Maxi meets Idsilla and Selina once again, some info about papal conclave;Ch. 124-126: Maxi tries to get out the mountains; almost died to kelpie but Riftan rescues her; they settle for the night in cave. Riftan speaks about his family.

Ch. 47-48: Maxi and Riftan go horseriding; talking about they like/don't like; smut under the tree. [Manta ep. 32-34] Ch. 74 - Mage Tower will join war effort, the mages need to decide if they will join, they need more info so they send Maxi to find and speak with Ruth, she is approached by Sejuleu and has a small clash with Rif (couple's petty wars);Here is the thing. Riftan worked his ass+1 to be in the position he is right now, he acomplished what no other Knight or Kingdom alone would ever do and he is so proud of it, everyone basically kisses his butt (not like I wouldn't). But he believes that Max only sees nothing but the small-ugly-no-rank knight that he used to be in the past, even when in the present he himself has his own Country and has the Kingdom (King included) basically on their knees for him, but in his mind he believes Max doesn't want him/love him because he isn't worthy. Swoooooon. Oh, about Riftan! He's one of the cutest and nicest ML I've ever seen in a Korean novel. Riftan is such a good guy! Not to say he's perfect, because he's not. Dude definitely has his own issues to overcome. First, author style of writing, ut is very neat and enjoyable, she describe the story not too much and not too little, just the right proportion, she add the mood in the scene so we don't just read what's going on but also feel what kind of atmosphere the scene has

Ch. 78 - Breston is disrespectful to Uly & Maxi, Riftan POV he has chat with Breston, they will resolve their feud after war is over;Ch. 172: Riftan with Ursuline, Elliot & Ruth vitness the beating, Riftan beats up duke, Ruth heals Maxi, it was Rossetta that enabled Rif&RDKs to rescue Maxi; For ID type, it's DL for Driver's License. I kept putting the full 'drivers license' / even 'drivers license' in Korean, but only after inputting DL did my request go through. Ch. 135: Riftan plans to leave for Louivell castle as soon as possible, arranges for Maxi to stay in monastery, last meal with the knights. Ch. 52-53 - Calto delivers secret message to Ruth bout finding traces of attempts of purification magic, Riftan opens up again, but they're interupted; It is slow building romance, but believe me, you will not get bored because author play with many elements to keep us interesting while waiting for their progress
