There are three handles on the Bluefin 10’8’’ Cruise, making it really easy to transport it and carry it to the water once inflated.

The 12’ is the same width as the 10’8, so although the board can carry more weight, it feels very similar in terms of side-to-side wobbliness. The light weight, lower ride height and slightly smaller dims than a regular all-rounder make it less intimidating for smaller riders off and on the water.

While it can be tricky to carry it around due to its weight, the impressive ESL Tech (Exo Surface Laminate Technology) build provides for a durable, stable paddleboard that is a blast to paddle around on. Bag with board, and gear was light enough for me to handle on my own and was way under 50lb weight limit. Inflated the unit in July on our first river excursion and SUP had a slow leak which was undectected on the trial inflation. The dual split deckpad allows for easier folding and ultra-compact storage, making it easier to transport. So, to prevent board damage and to further improve performance, the drop-stitch core is protected by a military grade PVC composite shell.

For the best speed, glide, and tracking, make sure you put that center fin on, though leave it off if you’re going in a shallow river. If you are used to solid SUP, be aware that inflatables are a little trickier to balance on, but once you get used to it, it's actually a lot more fun to ride than a solid board. Internally, the board is constructed with a dense drop stitch pattern which makes for a very rigid board when inflated optimally. The only thing to watch for is to make sure the valve is set to one way (a simple turn of the valve itself), or you’ll dump all your air once you remove the pump. As well as being pretty straightforward to inflate, it's even easier to deflate, and you won't have any trouble packing it away either (the key here is to roll up the paddleboard as it'll leave plenty of room to slot everything else around it).

Having not tested the product yet I cannot comment on quality however service I can comment on and it’s absolute rubbish. This makes it possible for you to bring your phone with you on the board without the fear of drowning it. The four piece paddle can be assembled in seconds, and has an adjustable height so that all sorts of adults can feel comfortable using it. The side fins allow for the 10’8’’ Cruise to have a tighter turn radius, while the removable center fin will improve tracking when used.
