About this deal

Wet the surface with plenty of water. Spread a small quantity of Lithofin MPP and immediately start polishing. When the product turns pasty, add some water and continue polishing until the desired gloss level is reached. Then immediately rinse the surface with Lithofin MN Power-Clean diluted 1:10 to 1:20 and remove the solution with a wet and dry vac or cloth. Do not allow any product residues to remain on the surface. Advice: it may be advisable to wet the surface with Lithofin MN Power-Clean rather than with water. This reduces the risk of matt stains due to splashes on already polished surfaces. On small areas, Lithofin MPP can be mixed with Lithofin MN Power-Clean to form a paste, which is easier to use.

Scratch and Etch Removal: Over time, marble surfaces can develop minor scratches and etches, which can dull their appearance. Marble polishing powder is designed to gently buff away these imperfections, leveling the surface and restoring its smoothness. It helps to minimize the visibility of scratches and etches, resulting in a more flawless and polished look. The surface to be treated must be clean and free of polymers, acrylates and wax layers.Use Lithofin MN Power-Clean or Lithofin WAX-OFF to thoroughly clean the surface. For touching up small surfaces or patches it is possible to polish by hand. This will only lead to a lower level of gloss; it is preferable to use a polishing machine. Shine– Honed marble tends to have an unpolished and matte finish. The surface doesn’t really reflect light and features a more natural appearance. However, polished marble is shined and smoothed with abrasive materials to reflect the light. That gives it the bright look. Shined marble is more common in homes, but honed marble is becoming increasingly popular. Keep in mind, however, that you should only be using a polishing tool that uses soft cotton or microfiber pads. Never use anything too abrasive or anything with metal in it, as this will scratch the surface of your marble. Don’t Be Afraid to Call an Expert Seal your marble floor: This is very important. It's important to choose the right marble product for your home. Polished and honed versions have many similarities and differences. Let's learn about them below: Shop vacuum with a soft-brush head: Make sure the filter is in place, because you’re about to make a lot of fine dust. DRY POLISHING TOOL AND TECHNIQUE TIPSBeing a porous, soft and chemically sensitive natural stone marble though needs extra care to keep it gleaming for long. If not maintained properly, marble surfaces start to show wear sooner, can get etched by acids including soft drinks and juices; can absorb oils and other liquids and can easily get stained. However, the beauty of these wonderful stones can be preserved and maintained with the help of high quality marble care products from Tikko Products. Test in an Inconspicuous Area: Before applying the polishing powder to the entire surface, do a patch test in an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and to determine the desired outcome. Different types of marble may react differently to the powder, so it’s essential to test it first. Avoid using vacuums with older metal parts and wheels that can scratch the surface of marble stone.
