OSCAR-nominated Korean-born star of ‘Minari’(2020), Steven Yeun, also appears, in a very strange role, as the former child star of a successful but ultimately disastrous US sitcom.

The plot is excellent, the story-line a powerful one, and though the action appears to meander a tad at the outset, EVERYTHING is relevant. I am not going to reveal any plot spoilers, but watch the film carefully from the VERY OUTSET. Once the chips are down, Peele puts his foot to the floor, and we bound along, in exciting and dramatic fashion. And the horror is nicely visceral at times. more robust. Textures enjoy an exactness and attention to razor-fine detail that the Blu-ray cannot match. Overall sharpness gains are in clear evidence up every Western terrain around the ranch in every sunlit exterior: horses, dirt, even distant terrain is well rendered. Facial close-ups are wonderful, Shadows: The Making of Nope (HD, 56 Mins.) - An utterly fascinating and wonderful look at the making of the movie that is almost an hour long. Jordan Peele and the entire cast and crew talk about the different elements of the film from the inspiration, the animal, the chimp scenes, makeup, visual effects, horror, casting, and working together. The on-location shooting and the horses are also talked about here. This is a must-watch.

It includes copious amounts of behind-the-scenes footage, including some emotional moments during the final day of shooting. Once you know what's going on (if you are paying attention, as I find it hard to believe some reviewers still don't get what is a pretty simple explanation) and the film shows its hand more, it does lose steam. I can't say why without spoilers but there's a sense it has taken the high-brow route, rather than something more horrifying or suspenseful , and has a somewhat unimpressive revelation.
