About this deal

Please don't send a possible faulty or warranty product back without completing the claim form first, as we are unable to refund your postage if you do. Timescale to deal with your claim - for technical faults or repairs we use the services of the original manufacturer or nominated agent for inspection, testing and high quality guaranteed repairs. The style of the tent is very similar to a pop up tent, so if you have any experience camping you should find it very easy to assemble.

We have an upcoming trip to Borneo trip and we feel that this cot offers us a lot of options due to the dual-purpose nature of it being a cot and sunshade. The fact that the Arc 2 could be used in two different settings – as an indoor travel cot and as an outdoor sunshade- was very appealing to us. There is a possibility that a child could put a ground peg into their mouth, but only if they were left lying around. Used both indoors, in the garden and in a tent with varying degrees of success, depending on mood of little one. With regards to access into the tent for adults, the top opening was highly useful as a back saver and helped us to get our little one out in a very narrow area beside our bed.

Taking the cot down is easy as you just do everything in reverse, but we would suggest packing the poles and ground pegs away as you go. it’s quick and easy to put up and take down, and packs away in a little rucksack, hence is easy to carry. To resolve your query efficiently we use a claim form and case / ticket system, complete the form, add all the details required, and we'll get straight on to sorting it out. Littlelife's Arc 2 is also fire retardant although the instructions clearly state you shouldn’t set it up near any fire hazards, something to be aware of if using inside a larger tent on a campsite. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.

Put them to bed in the travel cot at home for a few days to get them used to sleeping in it while in familiar surroundings. An extra bonus is that Little Life also provided an excellent, and easy to follow instructional video that we found the easiest to follow. It also took a few attempts to find the best way of folding the cot down so you could get it back into the carry bag rucksack it comes with. Its unique two-pole asymmetric frame makes it very stable, and gives you easy access through the enlarged zip-down front panel. It provides a lovely, calming environment and Ruth said it felt a bit like her son was sleeping in a bubble.

A nifty zipped panel at the side of the cot allows you to lift baby in and out easily or, if they’re a crawler or walker, they can move in and out themselves while playing. The cot comes with a removable and washable foam mattress, which is fitted in the tent with three heavy duty Velcro strips. When it arrived, I couldn’t believe it was the travel cot – it didn’t feel heavy enough,’ said out tester Charlotte. ALSO IDEAL FOR USE AS INDOOR OR OUTDOOR PLAYPEN: The LittleLife Travel Cot has both a side door and top opening, which can be toggled shut so your child cannot escape should they try to unzip them. The foam mattress is fixed down with three strips of heavy duty Velcro and this stayed in place even with my energetic toddler and wriggling 13-month-old Hannah playing in it.

I used a narrow sheepskin on top of the mattress for her to sleep on, and wrapped a sheet and blanket under the sheepskin. The dual access (top and side) zippers are an added bonus to make it user friendly for a variety of ages. As it was January, the travel cot was tested indoors so, as per the instructions, it had to be attached to an immobile object using furniture loops on the straps. When Rosie was really little (and didn’t move around) I used to keep both the side and top open, to not make her feel too enclosed. If, however, you’re after something that can be used in place of a regular cot, then it probably isn’t for you. The LittleLife Arc 2 doesn’t come cheap, however, if you travel a lot and often, it’s worth investing a bit more into a good quality lightweight cot.
