Which makes me feel even better about my purchase (since I've been trying to transition to ethical products as of late).

I may pick up Elle for the sample, but I think that if I want a full size product I'll go for the Maybelline one!On days when I can't afford or don't want to fuss about my makeup going wrong, I'd also opt for other mascaras.

It's great for everyday wear as it gets the job done in a jiffy - a real bonus when you're in a rush in the morning! One of the main reasons Benefit made Roller Lash was because of the complaints about how hard They’re Real is to remove. Both the top and bottom lashes were enhanced, replacing the need for an eyelash curler, which is a blessing since we don’t all have time to fit this into our daily beauty routines! The formula is similar to they’re real – as in it shares its inky black pigmentation and 12 hour lasting ability but I believe the consistency is slightly thinner so that the lashes are not weighed down so they stay curled up.

The brush itself is curved and smaller than their previous mascara wands which makes it easier to apply, especially in the corners of your eyes.

The skinny wand and bristles also makes it super easy to comb through both top and bottom lashes without smudging it on the lids.
