Now mind you, it was even stated by Peter himself that the Hulk "looked weak" and seemd disoriented here, so its unlikely he was fighting anywhere near his peak, as he was in Wolrd War Hulk where he broke Peter's arms in his metal form. Still, to be able to take on any form of the Hulk and have him at a disadvantage for even a short time speaks to a strength/power level that is nothing to joke about. And this little scuff up did take place in the 616 universe, so it counts as a viable display of Peter's strength. Even as a teenager his superhuman strength was impressive placing him in the upper tiers of strength in the Marvel Universe at approximately 70-75 tons. a b Williams, Kate (26 December 2015). Months after leaving the X-Men to live a peaceful life in Russia, Colossus was convinced by his sister Illyana to rejoin the team and help them with the mutant refugees in X-Haven in light of the M-Pox breakout. When Illyana revealed her true intentions; to use Legion to destroy the Elder Gods and reclaim her soul, risking the fate of the universe to do so, the X-Men had her imprisoned in the X-Brig, only releasing her with a bomb strapped to her chest for select missions. Colossus tried to argue that these measures were too harsh, but Illyana declined his offers of help, telling him that she accepted her punishment. The remains were described briefly by Strabo (64 or 63BC – c. 24AD), in his work Geography (Book XIV, Chapter 2.5). Strabo was a Greek geographer, philosopher, and historian who lived in Asia Minor during the transitional period of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. Colossus fought alongside his fellow mutants against the Avengers, when they came to kidnap Hope Summers. He fought the Red Hulk at the bottom of the sea and once again began taking on the aspects of Cyttorak. He utterly overpowers the Red Hulk in this form, but their battle was seriously damaging the pillar that supported Utopia. He managed to regain control of himself and allowed the Red Hulk to defeat him in the knowledge that if he loses control of himself again, he won't be able to stop himself. The X-Men appeared to surrender, but in reality, it was a ploy and Cyclops teleported out together with Colossus and several other powerful mutants. [91] [92]

Common Mistakes To Avoid

The remains lay on the ground for over 800 years and, even broken, they were so impressive that many travelled to see them. Colossus was preceded by several computers, many of them being a first in some category. Colossus, however, was the first that was digital, programmable, and electronic. The first fully programmable digital electronic computer capable of running a stored program was still some way off - the 1948 Manchester Small Scale Experimental Machine. Word History

Colossus is a mutant whose powers were due to his cellular replacement of his organic structure with an extra-dimensional organic osmium steel. This allowed his body to increase his physical resilience and superhuman strength. Colossus was the first of the electronic digital machines with programmability, albeit limited in modern terms. The notion of a computer as a general purpose machine - that is, as more than a calculator devoted to solving difficult but specific problems - would not become prominent for several years. As to his strength being "displayed consistently", well...that's a bit more dicey. To my knowledge, no marvel hero has had their strengths be "consistent" throughout an entire series; on the plus side, they tend to grow over time, like any well trained skill or muscle. On the other, retcons can change reasons or rationale behind powers. Plotwise, we have seen abilities falter or things that shouldn't happen to them happen, just as a result of the story needing to progress. Colossus is subject to this same happening; yes his overall powers will always remain the same, but their "extent" can depend heavily on the writer, the context, and the demands of story, plot and drama.
