This helps the dead skin cells fall off, helps the skin keep in more water, and leaves the skin feeling smoother and softer. Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream can be used in conjunction with moisture retentive adhesive dressings that promote healing, such as transparent film and hydrocolloids and enables tapes and dressings to stick to the skin.

Your doctor/pharmacist may suggest that you limit your time in the sun, avoid tanning booths and sunlamps, and use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.
