Wore it to work yesterday and the laugh is it had more compliments then the Dior Homme the day before.

I tried this based on the fact that I have found some amazing perfumes by Avon - which most have been compliment magnets.nothing ground breaking about the scent but got 2 bottles of mesmerize one is older then the other and you can tell its stronger and smells better then the new one . Other people may enjoy this new apple scented mixture-it has variety within the scent, so, itś not "dull" or "flat", it can seem to be a bit floral, and sweet for sure, However- after the original luxury of oriental sensuousness embodied in the first formula-I cannot conform-or enjoy.

The notes blend together so that one particular note doesn't stand out from the rest, but the overall impression is one of mellow spices. For the wearers who say "its really long lasting", I don't agree at all,most colognes if there long lasting you can smell it on yourself for hours,(HABIT ROUGE) (CUBA GOLD) (LAGERFELD,the original) (L'INSTANTedt) with Mesmorize I don't get that at all,not even close. After half an hour vanilla bourbon eventually had its turn but the sugar never left, while the spices never appeared. We also recommend comparing offers in Rochas and Issey Miyake collections as well as perfumes for women.Avon has Imari Elixir, Imari Seduction, and Imari Mystique (now discontinued) which I prefer over Avon's Mesmerize in the blue bottle. Perhaps a little part of me is a tad bit resentful of this usurper, this pretender to the crown, but only a tad. Nice, but not for those who like the more powdery / incense type fragrances (think Passion or Bal a Versailles).
