About this deal

Some of Yuu's dialogue options are the same sentiment, just reworded to match whether they're using polite language or more casual language.

The Gadfly: Tapping on certain characters on the home screen reveals that Yuu is poking them, tugging on their sleeves or outright hitting them, much to some of the characters’ annoyance.

I recommend this manga for people who are fans of the game. For people who aren’t, but are interested in the premise, I recommend the game with all of my heart and soul. In Episode of Heartslabyul, Grim runs away after he accidentally charred one of the Great Seven statues and refuses to be caught by the headmaster again. While the chapter follows the few parts quite closely, the manga's depiction expands on the Prologue in several ways. Distressed Dude: In Chapter 4 of the main story when they along with Grim are being held hostage in Scarabia dorm. In the absence of Ace and Deuce, they're helpless in the situation against the aggressive students on night patrol due to Yuu's inability to use magic and Grim not being that skilled overall. Thankfully near the second half of the chapter, Grim's escape plan ends up working and they wind up in Octavinelle, where their situation peaks the interest of Azul and company enough for them to investigate whats happening.

Yuken "Yu" Enma is the kind, big brother-type leader of his high school's kendo club (that was struggling before he brought it to life) and is waiting for the bus when by all appearances gets run over by a horse-drawn carriage, whisking him away into the world of Twisted Wonderland--much to his chagrin because they have a tournament coming up. This world is basically the amalgamation of Disney movies (specifically Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White) and in it exists an "arcane academy" called Night Raven College, dedicated to training mages. This academy has dorms crested by each main villain of the aforementioned Disney stories and those villains are considered the academy's great forebears. Basically, if you didn't know beforehand about anything related to the IP, Twisted Wonderland is straight-up a celebration of Disney villains. The English translation retcons this moment, instead having Grim wish to become a powerful mage and showing no ungratefulness towards Yuu for giving up their chance to wish for something.

Light Novel

I guess since there is a lot of Wonderland and villain respect/worship, that the world our MC was brought to isn't going to make much sense and the characters from there would not be rational the way we would see it, but it was just...a tad too strange for me to enjoy.
