About this deal

This Brixton club has a similar feel to XOYO: a sleek, dark cavern with plenty of space for dancing. A new mega-club by the same guys who brought you Printworks, The Beams is designed to be drenched in natural light during its day parties, followed by state-of-the-art production displays at night. Kiwi explains that it’s a space designed for ‘more marginalised queer people’: for trans people, people of colour and those who have traditionally struggled to access spaces to explore their sexuality and gender identity.

Official London Theatre is run by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) a not-for-profit organisation representing the theatre industry. The staff are bubbly, the parties are flaming hot (Technomate, Don’t F*ck With The Disco, and Gutterring to name but a few), and the DIY-feeling space itself is pretty spectacular: a high-ceilinged warehouse with a mezzanine and a massive sparkling disco ball.

If you want to take to the mic at London’s hottest new singing spot Karaoke Hole, you’ll be on the main stage. It’s worth going just to look at the fashions; the dress code states that attendees shouldn’t even bother queuing for entry unless they’re wearing something that would turn heads and elicit stares on the street, so partygoers’ costumes will have your eyes on stalks (although that’s not where the ‘Garden’ name comes from; it’s a reference to a dark French novel about a sadist who likes to watch such horrors as flayings and crucifixions, juxtaposed against a beautiful outdoor setting in China).
