In 1820, Bols introduced a revolutionary new genever recipe with a more subtle taste, as a result of a better balance of malt wine, neutral grain alcohol and botanicals. A traditional Amsterdam genever and a recipe dating back to 1820 from a company that has its roots in Tudor times.

This flavoursome distillate is blended with a juniper-berry distillate and a separate botanical distillate, including coriander, caraway and aniseed.
