This awning rail does not require drilling or screwing. You can use bonding adhesive such as TigerSeal or any other bonding adhesive. It is a popular addition to the VW Transporter, but is also available for a range of vehicles including the Mercedes Vito and Renault Trafic. Please note Fiamma Canopy Awnings do not have sides and therefore do not provide protection from the wind. We recommend awnings are taken down in high winds to avoid damage and for the safety of others. We recommend not to drill/screw these into place. We suggest that you use a bonding adhesive such as TigerSeal for a nice and neat finish.

Please note, due to how the passenger door is on this vehicle the standard size awning for a long wheel base vehicle is 2.6m however by fitting a multirail, and attaching your awning to the multirail, you can have a larger 3m awning. With the use of a multirail is the only way to fit this larger awning to this vehicle. The Camper Essentials version looks sleeker/more hidden if you don't have roof rails to also contend with, but if you have roof rails, the Funky Leisure roof rails version is probably less hassle. Do I need the Reimo MultiRail, Awning or Adapter Kit?

These Aluminium rails are an updated version of the California Awning Rail and are available for driver side or passenger side, you can choose in the above menu. These rails come as straight rails.
