Upon receipt, the Divide 3 not only became my road-to-trail shoe, but also my “just” road shoe, my airport shoe, my errand shoe, and more.Made for light trails and road-to-trail transitions, the Divide 3 fits like a road shoe with Trail-Tack traction and added protection. Consistent with their predecessor, the Divide 3 is true to size (I run in a women’s 9) and while sufficiently snug for my narrow midfoot, remains roomy enough in the forefoot to be bunion-friendly. While I set previous models of the Divide aside after testing, the Divide 3 has earned a spot in my rotation of favored shoes.

Even with the added volume, the upper is not sloppy at all - the lacing and the volume are just right where you can snug it up quickly and you get a nice fit without any squeezing from the sides. Perfect for the trail runner, this shoe has a gravel protective lining and the traction of a high-end trail shoe.The slightly wider fit has been comfortable to allow some toe splay without being too sloppy and the lower to the ground/firmer ride works well for a grounded feel and ability to pick up the pace.

Designed with a breathable textile upper, feet are kept cool and dry whilst a DNA Loft midsole offers customised cushioning adapting to your feet with every glide giving smoother transitions and softer landings.
