About this deal

We loved the secluded setting, the warmth of the log burner on a chilly evening and the beautiful shared gardens. Thank you so much for your kind comments, we are so glad you had a good time and hope to see you again. Outside, you can enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks in the enclosed garden, sitting at the table. Our hub offers answers to frequently asked questions, Live Chat and messaging to help solve your issue.

The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and cosy - even better than it looked in the photographs. We found it very attractive and well furnished with the additional reading room and conservatory a bonus. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback we really appreciate it and are very pleased that you had a good stay at Lane End Cottage.I've seen him hopping about in the lower half of the burial ground before but to be close enough to get a photo was a treat. All come which their own individual character and promise a fun-packed day trip to the beach with their activities and opportunities on offer. Make the most of the incredible garden, which has been meticulously designed to be a wonderful place to relax, with beautiful landscaping throughout, expansive lawned areas for your furry friends to run about on, and a variety of seating areas where you can socialise in the sun, read a captivating book, or dine alfresco.

Found old Christmas gift tag down side of s Read more ofa - may say something about standard of cleaning 3. My partner and I had a perfect break in this cottage, the sun shone every day and the surrounding peaceful countryside has so many beautiful walks and things to see that we never left the valley during our stay.More than enough equipment in the kitchen and utility room and plenty of sitting room again inside and out. We are so glad that you had a lovely time and that you enjoyed your stay at the cottage and that the chickens didn't take too many liberties by coming in the house as well as visiting! Once a delicious meal has been prepared here, bring it through to the living/dining room, where seating for all the family awaits, as well as a sitting area hosting a toasty electric fire and TV for you to retreat to afterwards. Each collection within the family offers something different, so that all holidaymakers can find the perfect break, wherever it may be and whatever they are looking for. Watch out for your satnav as even when we thought we had rerouted ours south of Windermere to AVOID Hardknott Pass - it somehow how took us there anyway!

Just one comment, which I really don’t want to sound like a criticism, but perhaps a few more cleaning products could be left, to assist the end of stay cleaning. So many positives; peace and quiet, lovely area, stunning garden, resident birds and Steve and Angela, who've always made us feel welcome. We feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful area and are thrilled that we are able to share it with people like yourselves.

We loved our stay in the cottage as we had previously visited Bembridge over the previous years and we love it there. Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed, TV, vaulted ceiling and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Garden furniture was unsafe - 2 cracked plastic chairs and a very rickety and rotting table/bench set, a bit of which broke off when sat on 4. Stairs were a little difficult to manage if you have any mobility issues but other than that can highly recommend.

And the beach is only half a mile away from the front door when you fancy a traditional bucket and spade day out on the sand. Many thanks to Angela and Steve for making us feel so welcome again, it felt like meeting up with old friends! And when night falls, you can choose between two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both served by a family shower room. Settle down at the country-style dining table in the sizeable dining room and reminisce about your seaside adventures as you gaze out over one of the lovely parts of the garden, this one featuring a cherry blossom arch that towers over a patio; a superb spot to relish a glass of wine in.The tree just outside is like Heathrow airport, an array of different kinds of birds flying in and landing on the bird table! So glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet we certainly do not take for granted how lucky we are to live here and it is our pleasure to be able to share it with people like yourselves. The outside garden is a birdwatcher’s paradise and we spent every morning watching the variety of great and blue tits, black caps and nuthatches swooping in to get their breakfast. Historic Dunwich, once a busy medieval port but long since disappeared under the waves, is 6 miles away and has a beautiful beach and picturesque heath. The cottage itself was cosy and beautifully decorated for our Christmas visit and reminded us of Kate Winslet's cottage in the film, The Holiday.
