About this deal

In the Here come the Teletubbies VHS, The Windmill is silent, to add this, A different opening shot is used for this segment in the VHS, and also the Scene showing the Tubby Custard Machine is removed.

The rare original window Windmill clip was shown when the Teletubbies were about to eat Tubby Toast before they watched Playing in the Rain at the TV Receiver sequence. The Tubby Toaster shoots out zillions of Tubby Toast and it engulfs in smoke (but miraculously doesn't catch fire), making the screen shake. One of the five lights light up as they pitch higher when another lights up, with a train whistle and a drumroll accompanying it. On the Norwegian cover, it features an image from Missing Favourite Things (from Josie's Pots and Favourite Things) on VHS and DVD, even though that scene was not on this release.

Perfectly capturing the toddler worldview, the hugely popular series continues with this collection of episodes that finds the quartet marvelling at a rainstorm in Teletubbyland. WHEN THE WIND BLOWS, A MAGIC WINDMILL BRINGS PICTURES FROM FAR AWAY, JOINING THE TELETUBBIES TO THE WORLD OF REAL CHILDREN.

He sees that the Tubby Toast is flying from the house and decides to go inside the house to see what's going on. The colourful, chubby, futuristic foursome get up to lots of adventures in this early collection of Teletubbies stories, with plenty of the wonderfully intriguing sounds--from the giggles of the Sun Baby, to the slurping sounds of Noo-Noo, to the "tuning" noise of the loudspeakers--that are the trademark of this BBC show, expertly created to capture the attention of babies and pre-school toddlers.

As far as the "controversy" of the Teletubbies, whipped up by some conservative folks out there- I think they are off base and need a life. Here Come The Teletubbies: A Fun-Filled Adventure on VHS Get ready for a world of joy and laughter with the Teletubbies! Tinky Winky tries to get a piece of Tubby Toast, but for some reason, the Tubby Toaster isn't working properly this time. Here Come the Teletubbies is the perfect first video to introduce youngsters to the show, with lots of short stories containing some Teletubby favourites--the tubby toast machine goes berserk and throws toast everywhere , the magic rain cloud appears and makes puddles to splash in, a surreal, computer-generated animal parade marches across the valley, Po makes a trail of tubby custard all over Tubby land and then falls over all the time. We often go on long car trips, and my daughter, who is 18 months, absolutely LOVES her teletubbies dvds.
