We bought the mousepad with our own money anyway, so you can rest assured I wouldn’t hesitate to rip into Logitech if something was amiss.

When it comes to performance, a mousepad will fall into one of three categories – control, speed, or balance. There is a Logitech logo in the bottom right corner which is a different surface to the cloth while proving a large low profile area. While their glide can be seen as pretty similar, for my money the G640 is faster initially (once it wears down it tends to slow down a lot though).

Edge-to-edge, the pad has a clean, consistent surface texture for smooth tracking across the entire surface. The mildly textured rubber base does a great job at keeping the pad securely in place wherever you decide to put it down, even when I was furiously trying to get it to move by putting unrealistic amounts of pressure on my mouse, so all’s well on this front.

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .I think that the G640 won’t offer the control that you need and I also think that the G-SR might offer a bit too much control, making it too slow.
