If you’re using a color-correcting primer like the aforementioned L’Oréal Paris Prime Lab Up to 24H Dullness Reducer, use that in place of a mattifying primer. Apply an even layer of the L’Oréal Paris Prime Lab Up to 24H Matte Setter to your tattoo and the surrounding area. Also what with the sun UV and all the different chemicals in soaps and body washes its inevitable your tattoo is going to fade a little. All in all this is a fantastic product that keeps my tattoo moisturised, lines looking sharp and colour looking vibrant. I always ensure my arm has a high factor of sun cream on when I’m in hotter climates so I don’t think mine has faded very much (if at all), but it’s always nice to give it a refresh!

It’s a great Non-sticky/greasy formula which is what I like, and is also very fast absorbing so means you haven’t got to wait ages before getting dressed or putting a jacket on! Love this stuff, brightens the colour in your tattoos, or in my case brings out the blacks of the shading. Use your finger to dab the foundation onto the color-corrected area of skin, then, use a makeup sponge to create an even, seamless blend.
