The almond flavour comes through more in the sweetness than anything else which, as someone who thinks marzipan has no place in this world, I really appreciated. Barebells Caramel Cashew has been one of the most popular flavours released by Barebells from the beginning and has remained a favorite worldwide.Although not a fan of coconut, I’ll make an exception when it’s mixed with chocolate – just not for this bar. Plus they’ve been much stingier with the chocolate coating on this one, which doesn’t seem fair considering all we’re left to work with is a chewy core and some coconut shavings. I love everything from the chewier core to the crispies on the top; my only complaint being I wish the chocolate was slightly thicker so as to get that satisfying ‘crack’ when you bite into it.

As a result we recommend that you always read the label carefully before using or consuming any products. I heard raving reviews about this, and even Barebells’ harshest critics seemed converted, so I was pretty eager to give it a go. Barebells originally took the Mix by storm with their incredibly popular high protein, high fibre and low sugar protein bars back in 2017. As with many other brands’ offerings, it’s more cookies than cream, but this bar still manages to be extremely sweet.

Barebells Vegan Salty Peanut is a nut lover’s dream come true- the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The core is soft with a slight chew and, although I’ve literally just shaded them, I do like the crispies in there for the subtle crunch.
