The central model of base, balance, spice fits well with a lot of cocktail recipes, though it's a little bit of a stretch for some that they squeeze into the sections. If you pick up the book, there’s a sister recipe that switches out the Chartreuse for Absinthe that I’m looking forward to trying out as well.
