If you’ve ever stumbled across my Instagram or read this post, you’re bound to have noticed that my hair is mostly brightly coloured. Always conduct a strand test 48 hours prior to each application as advised on pack and in the instructions. Although currently a bit empty looking, it’s got a great tool for testing out the dyes on both pre-lightened and naturally blonde hair. The picture on the right is out of natural light (and me first thing in a morning, so please forgive me) and the left is what it it looked like when the sun hit it.
I am a beautiful violet, but when I was washing the colour I am green, I do not understand why it is that pigmentation in your hair if it is not a permanent colour. Weird, I don’t know why, but with so much colour leakage in the water and in everyday life, it’s weird how they don’t fade easily.It’s still really bright but it’s a more deeper red now 😍😍 I usually use directions or crazy colours but with bleaching my hair they were a had orangey!
I first mixed Mystic Purple with Pink Pizazz, I did add far too much purple to start and it turns out the colour I was looking for was the exact colour of Pink Pizazz, so if I had two of those I would have got the perfect colour immediately. Seeing as this is a semi-permanent dye over a dark permanent dye, I think we can agree that the difference is pretty damn good. I will just say on the downside that it does stain your scalp, and I of course recorded this, so warning: pictures of a distressed looking Nia coming up. I used Colour Freedom in Crimson Red a few weeks after bleaching my roots which means I had quite a bit of regrowth, but because Crimson Red is darker and more intense, it made my regrowth look amazing.for 150ml is no contest really and Directions/Crazy Colour definitively don’t leak onto my chest without being bothered by water either. On natural dark brown hair, do you think using the purple as a dip dye will wash out in a month or so? Now I am fighting to get a green one of my hair is already three bleachings it would not have been able to get that green tone. The consistency is thick enough that it coats each hair without any dripping and the colour straight from the tube is WOW. At first, my roots were more purple and the ends of my hair were pinkier/redder, I didn’t mind at all and I rather liked it.
