The no wifi security camera with a 4MP native resolution can pan 355° and tilt 140° to help you trail animals and see clear details. The real time video, ability to pan/tilt, way bigger detection zone, way wider FOV, etc make them much more desirable for security to me. The Reolink KEEN Ranger PT can be powered by a battery or solar power, which makes it ideal for remote locations or areas where power sources may be limited.

The KEEN Ranger PT records at 2K resolution so you get very crisp video clips, however it is important to note that the resolution of the livefeed is dependent on the strength of the camera's signal. External PIR sensor is sensitive to human or objects radiating infrared energy instead of moving leaves or trees. You can freely place Reolink Keen™ anywhere indoors, like on your table, on the wall, under the ceiling, and even from room to room. I wish there were some consumer-grade cameras that could be easily trained by their users, but we are not there yet.
