About this deal

The better your problem and question is described, the easier it is for other Lenco owners to provide you with a good answer. The Lenco L-3808 is a great sounding turntable - which is sure to please everyone across the spectrum of record enthusiasm. The compact and robust design is highly portable, easily withstanding the rigours of day-to-day live use. Please do not use the `Remember me` option if using a computer with public access or that is used by more than one person. Drums were meaningful and full of character, while the accuracy of the electric guitar added a sense of transient speed.

The M101 features a rack-mountable design, providing you with a range of input and output connections for seamless integration with a range of DJ gear. One of the principle failings of the budget turntable – even more so the sub-budget table – is how very much out of control it is in terms of assembling and presenting diverse frequencies to your ear.The unit arrives with a dust cover but I would recommend removing it during play to avoid noise from its rather shaky mounting. If reducing vibrations and increasing the weight of the arm brings about improvements, why not try it? VTA was way out so I fitted a Vibrostop mat on top of the thin disco one that was supplied, perfect.

The Lenco addresses many of these failings from the core of one single feature: it’s direct drive motor. Hi Aleks – I sympathise with your predicament but the Lenco isn’t aimed at people who are that concerned about turntable set up.It can be switched to accept an external phono amplifier too, something that I would highly recommend as soon as you can afford one to further increase sound quality. If you do need to change the pitch slider, use that strobe again to gauge how much you need to move the slider.

Partly, because the precise treble performance allowed the cymbals to offer both delicacy but also accuracy. It was of the cheap variety, meaning that you couldn’t change it, or you had to open up the base and make internal changes to the deck. I then moved to the jazz vocal of Gogi Grant and the track By Myself, from the 1960 LP, Granted It’s Gogi on Living Stereo. All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. and they have tightened the sound up some more, this deck certainly is surprising me - Brothers In Arms and Leftfield were very pleasurable. We make a conscious effort to use components that are recyclable, and strive to bring the latest technology innovation into our range. Singles are thicker in the middle, they have a ridge where they used to grip each other in old-style record players where you stacked up the records. If I’d gone even higher, I’d definitely have needed a decent phono pre-amp because the costlier stuff doesn’t have one included, they assume you can afford one! The USB port, a removable plastic cover, mechanical tonearm filter; it all adds up to a great affordable turntable that gives you professional results. I cut the hole in the middle first, then used an old fashioned ball-point pen (BIC or Biro, they happen to be the right size) to keep the felt mat and the rubber concentric while I marked out the circle.
