Earlier editions of the game contain 4 Car movers (instead of tokens), one die (instead of two dice), 48 ticket booths (12 sets of 4), a deck of 24 Chance cards, and a pack of Monopoly Money. Flip over the board for the more advanced Level 2 game, recommended for ages 6 and up, that focuses on reading and simple math.

If you land on an amusement without a ticket booth, you must purchase the attraction by paying the fee and placing your coloured ticket booth on the space. If players land on the Just Visiting jail space or free parking, they simply have a rest for a turn. Monopoly Junior game is similar to the Monopoly game, but it’s accessible and exciting for younger players.

Players may roll again when rolling doubles, but must go to Jail if doubles are rolled three times in a row. It includes a gameboard, 4 tokens, 20 Chance cards, 48 Sold signs, 90 M1 banknotes, and 4 Who's Your Token?
