After the The Second Great Chaos Incursion, the princes of Ulthuan needed to elect a new Phoenix King. The Realm of Ulgu was not, initially at least plagued by the followers of Chaos but as time progressed it too began to be assaulted. Morathi had told them and they had not listened, simply because they were incapable of understanding. I could try and disband a few units from Morathi´s army but that would leave me extremely vulnarable to any sort of aggression from any side.

The first Lord I had to recruit started with the lowest possible loyalty and was immidiately presented with an option to spend 2500 gold which I had to as she was recruiting to deal with the revolt at hand while Morathi was taking the initial province.

Bel Shanaar then married Yvraine (Aenarion's daughter from his first wife), causing Morathi to lose her title as Queen. She has struck Daemonic pacts with many vile and disturbing forces, and can unleash the terrible power of Chaos upon those who displease her. The Queen of shadows and slaughter, Morathi leads the cults in acts of huge slaughter across the mortal realms. As the matriarchal leader and High Oracle of the Daughters of Khaine, Morathi's every word is law, her every wish a command.

As his High Oracle, it is she who interprets the god of battle's wishes, and commands the war covens of the Daughters of Khaine. Sigmar, ever suspicious of the High-Oracle, reluctantly agrees as the risk of a Chaos invasion of Azyr is just too great. Morathi is not only the lone Witch Elf allowed to use Dark Magic but is also one of the most powerful magic-users in the mortal world, rivalling perhaps even the Great Necromancer Nagash, the Lords of Change of Tzeentch and the High Elf Archmage Teclis. And as he stared back at her, Morathi's eyes filled with the obvious entreaty, he was certain that she knew what he was thinking, and just as certain that, at that moment, she did not really care what he did.However, Morathi, ever resourceful, looked to turn this to her advantage leading a huge expedition out to meet the growing tribes. To him, it was a potent, heady brew that had fuelled many memorable days, and even more memorable nights.

During all that time she was a spinner of half-truths and a manipulator of such scale that entire empires moved to the command of her sibilant whispers. During the wars of the Great Catastrophe fought against Chaos, Morathi brewed potions for herself and Aenarion to help them sleep and keep him calm despite the influence of the Widowmaker, the Sword of Khaine. Moving closer to Aenarion, as though daring him to strike, Morathi was pulled by the arm into his embrace, crushing her lips against his, putting all his lust and rage and hatred into one long and brutal kiss. Her beauty was far beyond that of mortal man but her soul glowed with an inner darkness that chilled people to their core. Khaine is dead, his last vestiges of power and only hope for resurgence usurped, held within his iron heart and exploited by Morathi for her own benefit.They know the city is undefended during that time, they know this from previous playthroughs at higher difficulties where if you don't rush Black Crag down by turn 10 or whatever, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I found that with every faction, regardless of their starting difficulty, there's a set way to start your first 10 turns or so. She´s a supremely corrupting influence that has via Malekith sundered aguably the greatest civilization on the planet and turned near half of it into a society molded around betrayal, torture, bloodshed and slavery and actively working with the chaos gods to bring about the end of the world. Instead, the damage inflicted on the target is equal to the number of mortal wounds that were caused.
