Our curriculum is inspired by high quality texts and reading for pleasure, and NNP encourages children’s curiosity about new vocabulary. Earlier texts tend to be more suitable for the beginning of the year while those towards the end of the lists are increasingly complex in either language or concepts, and therefore could be more appropriate towards the end of the year. The children thoroughly enjoy using the books and look forward to their daily phonics lesson with great anticipation.
